"ICVM in Paris"
Venue : Paris, France . Welcome to the 8th International Congress of Vertebrate Morphology to be held in Paris (ICVM-8), 16 to 21 July 2007.
site : http://icvm8.snv.jussieu.fr
The Congress will take place at the University P. & M. Curie (UPMC Paris VI), the National Museum of Natural History (MNHN) and at the University of Paris I (Sorbonne), three institutions very close to each other in the centre of the city (Latin quarter).
Just as for the previous successful Congresses (Giessen, Vienna, Antwerpen, Chicago, Bristol, Jena, Boca Raton), the aim of ICVM-8 is to promote, via oral communications, posters, symposia and workshops, the largest forum for discussion among vertebrate morphologists throughout the world. Patterns and processes dealing with morpho-functional adaptations and evolution of vertebrate organisms will form the heart of the debates.
Committees established by the Society have been charged with the organization of the Congress.
The congress will be supported by several sponsors ( e.g. UPMC, MNHN, University of Paris I (Sorbonne), CNRS, Collège de France…). Technical organisation is provided by Alpha Visa Congrès.
